SPACE TRANSPORT<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

There is not yet alternative to rocket Space launching of either manned or unmanned load. It is expensive, not very safe (approximately 90% success rate) and stressful. Alternatives are investigated the best known are:
\nSwiss Space System project<\/a><\/strong> (bankrupt due to mismanagement of funds), concept: aircraft + space shuttle
\n\u00a0Virgin Gallactic<\/a><\/strong>, concept:\u00a0 aircraft + space shuttle
\nDream\u00a0 Chaser<\/strong> (Sierra Nevada Corporation)<\/a>, concept: \u00a0rocket launched space shuttle
\nSkylon<\/strong> \u2013 Aerospace Technology<\/a>, concept: aircraft powered by rocket engines with intake of Oxygen from atmosphere (Skylon – The future of space?<\/a><\/strong>, Skylon – The Key To Economic Access To Space?<\/a><\/strong>, Skylon Spaceplane<\/a><\/strong> )<\/p>\n
